Living la vida Gärdet

Believe it or not, this is actually the slogan of the Bostadsrättsförening where Jenny and I are just about to sign a contract. But on the positive side, that's probably the worst bit about the whole thing. The flat isn't exactly big but we'll have 49 m2 which includes a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom and a bathroom. And it's all brand new, as can be seen in the picture above, except for the building itself built in 1941.

Erik Dahlbergsgatan is situated towards the north-east in Stockholm's city centre and lies just above Östermalm, Stockholm's most posh area. We'll be living close to parks, embassies and Stockholm Stadium with lots of cafés and restaurants around, in fact there's one of each in the building.

The corridors on every building floor resembles a hotel due to the buildings recent past serving as a home for geriatrics. However, the wallpaper in the corridor is from Svensk Tenn so we have no problem with that.
